強いことと

違う
It's totally different:
being strong and willing to look strong.
本当に強い人と
ただ強がっている人は

It's totally different:
someone who is really strong
and who just looks strong.
きちんと見分けなきゃ
自分のために
You have to see the difference
carefully... for yourself.
強がっている人のそばに群がっても
弱さを強めるだけ
Even flocking around the latter
you will just strengthen your weakness.
強くなることは
ときに孤独かもしれない
でもその孤独に耐えられる強さも
To be strong,
you would have to stay in solitude, sometimes.
But you need...
身につけなきゃ
the moments.
You need the strength to bear the solitude too, 自分のために
for no others than
yourself.

境遇や生い立ちから
周りが「強がり」を生むことがある
It's possible that you bear such a "bluffer"
from being too conscious of
the surroundings and backgrounds.
もっと自由に
Let them all free.
集団は
助け合うためにある
We are here to support one another,

Not driving yourself crazy is
that you accept what you are at the moment well.

Which country is yours?
「国」が人を治める
Nation governs the people.
OR
人が「国」を治める
People governs the nation.

Straighten the back
知らない街を ゆ ったり ただ歩く
and... just walk around an unfamiliar town
... slowly.
この心地の良い 緊張感 必要だな
These therapeutic and nervous conditions
one needs sometimes.

Tranquillity
島からの眺めは美しかった
The views from the island were so beautiful.
そこにいるはずの
人の気配
"No sign of people who must be here...
どうして感じられないんだろう
why can't I sense it?"
乾いた土地
Dried land:
その圧倒的な重圧が
波の音まで消し去ってしまった
its outstanding pressure's taken away
even the sounds of tides.
寂しいとか
悲しいとか
そういうんじゃない
It's neither sad nor lonely.
It's rather plain.
でもこの島の記憶は
決して忘れてはいけないと思った
But, I strongly felt
we must not forget the stories of this island.

瀬戸内海に浮かぶ
大島という小さな島を知っていますか？
Do you know the little island called Ohshima
on the Setouchi Inland Sea?
その島での生活を強いられた
ハンセン病患者の存在
And the existence of Hansen disease patients,
who were driven to live there alone?
社会とは何なのか？
What is society?
大きく投げかける孤独の島は
とても静かでした
The isolated island is still questioning us
in tranquillity.

Mistake
人間はミスをするもの
It's natural that one makes a mistake.
だから
気をつけなくちゃいけないんだ
So, you have to be careful.

Grass growing higher
even after all the flowers withered

Observation
観察力
発想の基本はココにある
赤ちゃんはママの顔を詳細に捉える
その詳細に少しでも変化が起こると大泣きする
ママのお洒落→観察→大泣き
Relation
つながり
1つの表現から新たな表現へ
世界は「関係性」で満ちている

今、必要とされていることだと改めて感じる
